Editor Interface

A collection of key interface terms commonly used in Manyfast.

Canvas

A canvas is the workspace where information is displayed and can be edited — it’s what you see in the Tree View.

Item

An item refers to an individual element you can use on the canvas. Each item represents a piece of information about the product you’re planning. Depending on its type, it’s categorized as a Requirement, Feature, Specification, or Menu within different document tabs.

A specific function that fulfills a requirement.

A navigational unit within the product.

Tab

In Manyfast, there are currently three types of planning documents — PRD, FS (Functional Specification), and IA (Information Architecture). You can access and switch between these documents using the tabs at the top of the screen.

View

A view defines how information is displayed. Each tab offers multiple viewing options:

  • Tree View – Visualize the overall structure and hierarchy of items.

  • Directory View – Explore and manage items in a detailed, directory-style list.
